The man who planted trees

Illustration Friday- Power

Power, the strength in each of us- another 'seed' illustration for this week's Illustration Friday

A whole forest, an ecology, an orchestra in a little seed. A never ending garden. So many chirps, so many moonshines, so many flutters, so many bees a buzz, so many droning cicadas, so my fungi and worms, so many raindrops, so many possibilities. In a tiny seed. You. Me.

Illustration Friday- Power

For the power, the strength inside all of us.

Gathered in a little speck of a seed-

A wise tree,

Sit on its branches a grove of little chickadees,

They sing and they flutter their wings as they dive into the water and become little fishes,

The children swing from its branches ,

And the nests rest on its wrinkled sleeves.

Together they weave between the sea and the sky,

Fabric of magic  and realities,

Of courage and love they sing.

Patiently, in the cocoon of the little seed.

Hatch, it will one day soon,

And the little speck of a seed,

Will be a tree.

The orchestra is on!

Illustration Friday- Fresh

The moon had just hatched, the bees and the butterflies were still hovering around. The birds were returning home. The earth smelled of twilight. She sat in her tiny garden, breathing in its mundane magic - with a cup of tea, of course!
